Sports Premium

Our vision at Trythall is for all children to enjoy physical activity and sport. Through high quality physical education we aim for each child to develop the generic movement skills which underpin lifelong participation. By providing a wide range of sporting activities we aim to engage and inspire our pupils to love leading a healthy lifestyle.

We have embraced the Government’s additional funding to improve the additional provision of PE and Sport in primary schools.  We are committed to using this funding to enhance our provision of high quality PE beyond the curriculum to develop and sustain healthy, active lifestyles for all.

To support us in achieving this, we are using a proportion of our funding to pay for specialist PE instruction e.g. team sports, swimming and surfing. This gives us access to greater participation in inter-school competition across a range of sports, specific training for staff, coaching for children, family engagement and promoting physical activity and a healthy lifestyle both in and out of school.
