Everything you need to complete the trail

We are so pleased that you are interested in our Mystery Trail around Penzance.  The children in class 1 (years 4, 5 and 6) produced this trail as part of their topic on journeys.  They have used their learning in English and Geography to plan and write the directions for a circular route around landmarks in Penzance.  They also wrote newspaper articles to set the scene at the beginning of their trail booklet which can be downloaded below.  We have some fabulous historians in class 1 who researched many of the places you might see along the route; providing you with many useful facts.  In their music lessons, the children composed a piece of music that you could play during your walk if you wish.  It's great so please have a listen! We really hope you enjoy the trail and can give the children some feedback on trail@trythall.cornwall.sch.uk

A message from our children

Over the past term, we have worked incredibly hard, combining our skills in literacy, history, geography and art to design a trail that is not only educational and creative, but also full of mystery and excitement. For children our age, this is something we are truly proud of.

The trail is available from school for a printing donation or you can see everything you need here
The end of trail

Well done for finishing the trail, we really hope that you enjoyed it and we challenged you with our ingenious clues.  Now you have cracked the clues and discovered who has an alibie and who doesn't you should be left with a single sly Salty Gang suspect.  Find out here if you have come to the correct conclusion.  Whilst you are visting the next page, check out the video of the guilty suspect's story written and performed by class 1.
