Newquay Aquarium

On Tuesday 10th March Class 2 visited Newquay Blue Reef Aquarium to discover more about life under the sea. The children toured the aquarium with much excitement meeting an array of wonderful creatures. The Year Twos collected shark facts for our shark information books, whilst the Year Ones collected facts about which creatures lived in which oceans to support our Geography learning. The Reception children had fun spotting different sea creatures as part of a photo trail. To support our learning in science, all the children experienced a rockpool workshop led by the aquarium staff, learning more about and handling creatures which live in this particular habitat.
