Marazion Visit

On Friday 20th Class 2 visited Marazion Beach and Marazion RSPB Nature Reserve as part of their Science topic ‘Habitats’. On the beach the children had an amazing time rock pooling in the low tides. There was great excitement at finding and identifying an impressive range of crabs and starfish. At the Nature Reserve, RSPB officer Claire Scott gave children a tour of the marshes and planned several games and activities to develop an awareness of its features and inhabitants. The class enjoyed having time to bird watch and were rewarded with the impressive entrance of a Heron and a nesting Egret.
