Class 2 Forest School

3rd June 2015
On Wednesday 3rd class 2 were back at Trevaylor woods for Forest School. Today the children were creating maps, as if they were modern day explorers. This supported our work in History, where we have been learning all about different explorers. To support our Literacy unit, the children pretended they were tiny bugs and had to draw objects really big! We did this by using magnifying glasses to look at leaves, flowers and twigs as this meant we could capture every detail. Finally the children learned all about bees and even did a waggle dance relay race! Again this supported our Literacy unit.
