Top Class at the Hall for Cornwall

1st May 2015
On Friday evening, top class joined three other  West Cornwall schools to perform songs to a full house at the Hall For Cornwall.
Although we had visited many times, this was the first time that children had the chance to perform. The event was a fantastic performance for the children: spending the afternoon practicing with the other schools; visiting the cathedral; an impromtu performance at Waterstones Bookshop and of course the final performance. The children had to wait until the end of the evening to sing as they had the important job ending the show, but the wait was certainly worth it!
Three songs were performed:;Make It Me sized ;Happy Feet. Christine Judge, from the Cornwall Music Hub, had been practicing the songs with the children at the four schools (Mousehole, Crowan, Newlyn and Trythall) for several weeks. The children got on well with Christine and gained a great deal from her experience.
