About the Role
Trythall CP School has a vacancy for a teaching assistant to work with Reception and Year 1 children.
The applicant must be prepared to lead groups of children and understand the importance of outdoor play in early years education.
Experience of teaching phonics and an understanding of Development Matters (EYFS) is essential. The successful candidate will also have experience in education outdoors or a willingness to undergo training in this area.
Patience, organisational skills and the ability to work well in a team with adults would be desirable characteristics.
Trythall is a small (78 pupils) family school, with a thriving pre-school set in a rural location. The small team of dedicated professionals who work here possess a wealth of experience and special skills to share. Trythall has a strong environmental ethos and a commitment to learning outside the classroom. We have an open minded approach to what we do a different ‘feel’ to more traditional schools.
Hours 8:30-3:15 Monday to Friday.
